Warning Labels

Over the holiday I saw a mother take her baby out of it's carrier and there on the carrier was a big warning label on it. That made me think of all the warning labels we all ignore every day of our lives. One wonders why all these warnings labels are necessary. Well the reason is all the stupid lawsuits - the lawyers that bring them and the people that are so stupid that they have no common sense. If we actually took serious all the warning labels we see daily we would have to stay in our homes. Though we may not even be able to stay there as I am sure there is enough warning labels to make us want to lock ourselves into a bunker.

No Bags at all!

There was something on this mornings news about another push to try to make us stop using plastic and paper bags. They just can't stop scaring us. First we are cutting down the forests use plastic! Then don't use plastic it isn't biodegradable, use paper it decays and doesn't ruin the environment. Now it's both, we are supposed to use our own bags - like I want to carry a bag around with me! Soon they will say the cloth bag they are trying to sell is hurting the cotton's feelings and we shouldn't hurt it's feelings.

President's Christmas card controversy

Last week I heard a lot of talk about the President sending out a Christmas Card with a religious verse in it. Mainly about Barbara Walters comments on "the View". Why are people so scared of this? ? For those who don't know, Christmas is a religious holiday for Christians. So it seems appropriate to send a religious card on a religious holiday. Christmas is about the incarnation of the Lord Jesus. It's not a secular holiday. Everyone knows the President is a Christian so of course he'd sent out a card about the real meaning of the Holiday. They should just be happy they even got a card from the President! Please Don't Be Scared!

Rain Prediction

I predict this season in LA we will have at least average and probably more rainfall. Last year they claim there was a drought. They try to scare you no matter what. Mark my words, this spring we will hear the same scare tactics about fires this coming summer.

If it rains alot they scare us because so much rain causes things to grow then that's more that will die and burn in the late summer. Last year they scared us that we didn't have any rain so things will burn because things are so dry. So it doesn't matter if we get rain or not, all they want to do is scare us.

The big mistake they commit is thinking there is a a "normal" or "average" temperature, rainfall, hurricane season, or anything in the weather.

For more related idiocies see global warming is a lie.

We are NOT! what is wrong!

Something is wrong, something is very, very wrong, here. And it is Al Gore. The former vice president has really shown he has some serious screws loose.

The debate is over! Al Gore is an idiot! !

He has said what I believe their aim is all along - that the best thing would be the destruction of the human race. He said "We are what is wrong." I can't wait till they are all proved wrong. I just saw a news story that said a lot of the coastline in California will be gone with in 3 to 7 years. They claim the ice caps will melt and the sea will rise 30 to 300 feet depending on what nut you talk too. Does anyone know what happens when you freeze water? ? It expands. Try freezing a soda or bottle of water, the container breaks. Thaw it out and have less volume. So if the ice caps melt the water level will go down.

We are not causing global warming! The Scandinavian Moose and cows are more to blame. They release way more CO2 than we do.

There is no reason to be scared about global warming. What you need to be scared about is Al Gore and all his ilk.

Will They Never Learn?

The hurricane have been so far off the past few years who belives them anymore. To even think they will ever be able to predict hurricanes is idiocy. Here's a story from market watch

At least William Gray doesn't believe in the global warming effecting hurricanes.

Bloomberg also reports that we are in a active cycle even though they were wrong the past few years.

Pearl Harbor

Friday was the 66th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. We need to remember this horrible day. The guy I replaced in my job was at pearl harbor. He has since passed, there is not too many of them left.

I don't know how many people know that we still have bases is Japan. We are still there after 66 years as we are in Germany. We've only been in Iraq for a few years, why all the complaining?

Gas prices will probably go up

Now that Congress looks like it will pass legislation to increase the manditory gas mileage for cars sold in the U.S., Gas price probably will go higher. First, demand will be down, so cost will go up and second since we will buy less, they will collect less money for road in taxes so they are all ready talking about raising the gas taxes because revenue is down. All because of this Global Warming Lie.

This is what I am talking about

This is how we should be traveling already ! ! ! It's about time someone started figuring this out! ! I want one! ! ! I am sure the government would ruin it by regulating the hell out of it.

Pay Per Post

I recently came across this opportunity to make a little extra money by just blogging the way I normally do. All I had to do was go to http://www.payperpost.com/ and sign up. Then they have a list of marketplace opportunities that need people to blog about everything under the sun. It is like a broker that provides consumer generated advertising for marketers and pay bloggers to provide opinions and feedback about products, services, web sites and companies. Of course full disclosure is required of you. They have all kinds of categories that you can choose from. You can choose what you blog on and how often you blog, it’s completely up to you. It is a place where you can make friends and learn about all kinds of stuff. You also can have a link on your site where advertisers can contact you directly.

I hope this will enable me to hone my writing skills which will in turn help me earn more and more money so I can help put my children through school. I also need extra money so I can maintain our home. If I even make more money I can go on a well needed and deserved trip with my wife to Hawaii.

Hybrid car farce

I do not like this wave of hybrid technology for cars. The internal combustion engine should have died a long time ago. It's ancient technology. I would've thought by now we would be using some sort of hovercraft, sort of like Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars. It seems to me that putting two different forms of propulsion together would complicate things more than it already is. Cars are already too complicated, we need to make them simpler and longer-lasting.

I am a big fan of the electric car, not because of the global warming lie. Mainly because they're so simple and need very little maintenance. The government doesn't want them to get popular because they rely so much on the money they get from the gasoline tax and in smog fees. Another reason may be that a lot of automobile repair workers would be out of a job. Businesses don't want them because they are easy to fix, and businesses rely on repair to get you to keep coming back. Look at the software business for example you always have to buy an upgraded version to fix the bad software that they sold you the first place.

The hybrids don't get that much extra gas mileage anyway. The government is already talking about raising taxes because are not using enough gas. No matter what else they come up with, no matter how good they say it is, we will always get the shaft, we will always be the losers.

Hurricane Prediction fall short again

Well for the second year in a row the 2007 Hurricane season predictions failed to fulfill expectations. I don't know why they are so surprised that the public may lose confidence in them, when you try to scare people and and are crying wolf, we know how the end of the fable turns out. I hope this humbles some scientists because it seems they think they believe they are always right.

The original prediction is as follows: "NOAA is predicting a very high likelihood (85% chance) of an above-normal 2007 Atlantic hurricane season, a 10% chance of a near-normal season, and only a 5% chance of a below-normal season . . .". So they predicted a 5% chance of a below normal season, and that's what happened. Further reading of the article states that in May they were only predicting 75% and updated it to 85% in August. They could have been more accurate if they used a dart board for their predictions. Here are some of the new stories: National Geopraphic, CNN, Voice of America News, Environment News Service

During the bad hurricane season a few years ago they blamed President Bush for the hurricanes. Why aren't they thanking him now for stopping the hurricanes. Because they think it's all about Bush. All of this makes me more cynical, because it makes me believe more than ever, "it's all about the money". The same thing with earthquake prediction, the biggest waste of money because were never going to accomplish the task.

They are wrong again!

This morning the weatherman said that the rain in LA came sooner than expected. One more example of that they cannot predict the weather in the next few hours let alone that global warming will happen in hundreds or thousands of years. There's no way you can predict the future of anything with the little amount of data we have. Probably the maximum amount of data we have is about a hundred years worth. And what is the quality of the data? Where did they take the tamperature readings a hundred years ago? Do we take them in the same place now? How accurate were their thermometers? Seems like the old adage garbage in, garbage out applies. If you have bad information, you make wrong conclusions. When you have blind people leading you, you may just all over a cliff. Don't Be Scared!

College lie

Ever since I was around fifteen I have not been a proponent of college. That was thirty years ago and my life experience has led me to conclude that most of the time it isn't good for the individual and Society. It is a big reason for Society Going so Madd! The following are some of my reasons -
  • You pay all this money and all you have is stuff in your head, you don’t learn to do anything. You learn by doing - not in classes.

  • Staying in school longer makes you stay young and immature, it takes longer for people to grow up.

  • Colleges aren’t teaching the truth any longer, they are interested in brainwashing our kids by masking lies as truth.
Businesses have bought into this lie and why our infrastructure is in so bad shape. People graduating college don’t really know much and they are still very immature.

My opinion is that we go to an 8th grade education system. We would teach the basics and only the basics – reading, writing, arithmetic, music, etc. until 8th grade then you would go to a technical type school and learn a job and start working. People learn better when they are interested in what they are learning, so whatever they are interested in is what they should be learning. Most everything I know, I wanted to learn it. When I wanted to know something, I researched it and learned it myself; I didn’t need anyone telling me what to learn.

To All the Kids Who Survived the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

Here's a fun thing that was circulating in an e-mail a few years ago and I just received it again and thought it was appropriate to put here since we are plagued with fears like these and so many threats from lawyers. Wish we could go back to an easier and happier time.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because, WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms…WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that! !

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them? CONGRATULATIONS!

Redifining Science to promote agenda

Redifinition of scientific terms has led to the mistrust of scientists. Science used to be a trusted field, it has been taken over by people with agendas other than truth. The term obese has meant any one just a little over weight. They have redifined being pregnant as implantation and not conception to promote their agenda. They lied to us about aids. They lied to us about breast cancer. They lied to us about condom safety. They lied to us about Global Warming. They have admitted they did it to scare you so that you will get tested. It's all about the money. They have cried wolf so many times they aren't believed anymore.

OLPC - One Laptop per Child

Whose dumb idea is this one laptop per child promotion. Just because a kid gets a laptop doesn't mean he's going to get smarter. Kids are getting into trouble all the time online. Seems like this is another liberal panacea to make themselves feel good inside. They don't use their brains to see if it will actually work. Way to simplistic, just give a kid a laptop and all will be great. Right! They seem to think that just by giving kids access to information nothing but good can come from it. Experience shows the bad things always spread faster than the good stuff. They say "The goal is to get technology in the hands of those that cannot afford it." And I guess thats suppose to fix everything.

Wrong conclusion

I read an article about an Alaskan island that is losing ground, and of course it is blamed on global warming. Even if they do have the right data, they have made a wrong conclusion. The landscape of the Earth has been changing for millions of years. It changed a lot even before we had the technology of the past hundred years that they claim is causing global warming. Areas of the coasts have been lost, and areas of the coasts have gained ground. At one time all the earth was one land mass. Surprised they don't blame global warming on the land splitting and forming the way it currently has.

Strikes

I have never understood strikes. They totally don't make sense to me. They want more money so they stop working - kinda defeats the purpose, I think. Unions have really dragged this country down, that's why alot of stuff gets done overseas. We have become babies in this country. We want everything and don't want to work for it, everything is owed to us. Things have to change somehow.

Can't have it both ways

The Lieutenant Governor of California showed the true face of the Democrats today. He criticized President Bush for coming to Southern California to see how he could help in the aftermath of the wild fires here. They criticized President Bush for taking too long to go to New Orleans so now he does what they wanted and now they complain he came. If he didn't come then they would criticize him for not coming. They have a great system - whatever President Bush does criticize him for the opposite.

The Lieutenant Governor of California also mentioned what Dennis Prager calls the Democrats' "holy trinity" - criticize the President, criticize the war, mention global warming.

Crying Wolf

You maybe able to tell that I don't believe many of the scares they try to perpetuate. They've cried wolf too many times. A big scare lately has been lead in the paint on toys made China. I am not going to loose any sleep over it.

These people over react then find out they messed things up worse and then disappear and will never claim responsibility or have to pay for their screw up. DDT for example - there was such a scare and now we are finding out that millions of people die from malaria that could be prevented. See www.junkscience.com/ddtfaq.html

These people can't recant or they will be out of a job.

Here are some of the things I remember at the moment they've cried wolf over.

Eggs are bad - - oops sorry they're good
Oatmeal - - same
Apples - - Alar oops again
Butter is bad, use margarine - - oops margarine is bad, use butter
Asbestos, take it out - - oops leave it in.
Pesticides are bad, use organic - - oops people are getting sick from organic because pesticides aren't being used.

I am sure there are plenty of other examples and that is why I am so skeptical of scare mongers who have cried wolf for so long.

Hollywood Liberal Bias

It was like the pot calling the kettle black last night on "Boston Legal" on the 2007-08 season fall premiere. I pretty much like the characters on the show but can't stand the liberal claptrap then espouse that defies logic. The lies they tell confirm the acronym GIGO - garbage in - garbage out!

The premise of one of the story lines was oil companies were donating money to colleges to slant studies. They seem to believe the lie that academics are without bias. HUH!!!

The opposition lawyer got liberals right when she said they've been complaining that oil companies don't care about the environment, now when they start caring the liberals complain about that. That's just what they do - the have no ideas, they just "feel" and complain. They just have to look good - how shallow.

There is no Global Warming !!! Common sense should tell you that. The earth has been here for 4000 to 4 million years and we have reliable data for 50 to 100 years which is such a sliver of time any idiot can see you can't predict the future from such a small amount of data. It's all about control - the Democrats & Liberals want to take your freedom! They claim they're the party of choice - HUH!!! As long as you choose their way - sounds like commuism to me.

Microwave Popcorn Butter - Here we go again!

You would think there would be better & more important things for Congress to do than to contemplate banning microwave popcorn butter. When are the scare mongers going to just STOP!!! They'll scare you over anything. Just - Don't Be Scared.

Friday, September 14, 2007

Again I say . . . STOP! !

I just ate some Cinnamon Life cereal last night and I am mad again. They changed the flavor! And it's not that good! I am very tired of companies being pressured to change products. I've noticed and believe I've heard in the news that cereal companies are changing their formulas.

Honeycomb changed theirs a while ago & I don't like it anymore either. So did Trix. I used to like Trix when I was a kid, but now it's terrible. They've added flavors that don't match.

But the main thing is the few loud idiots spreading lies & myths about health and the companies have no choice but to change out of fear of lawyers & idiotic lawsuits.

It's time to repeal all laws and ban all lawyers from the earth. Maybe we can send them to the space station, well on second thought, there is too many of them, we'll have to build a moon base and send them there.

Thursday, September 13, 2007

PLEASE.....Just STOP!!!

I am getting so sick and tired!! Actually I am sick and tired of being sick and tired! On this morning's news I heard more idiocy. Yet another "study" on cell phone use & the chance of getting cancer. And yet another different result from the other thousand useless studies on the subject. So much money is wasted on these studies and all they want to do is scare you so they can get your money somehow. It's all about the money!

How many times have we been told something is bad for you and then later it's actually good for you? Thousands!

Then I heard another crock. Stop eating meat and you'll help stop Global Warming. This *#@! on Global Warming is the biggest *#$!@*# lie that has ever been perpetuated. A five year old could tell you eating meat has nothing to do with Global Warming. You have to go to college to be so stupid!

Can't Trust the News

A sad thing happened last week, two elderly people died from the unbearable heat in Los Angeles. Every time it was covered in the news I heard a different story.

First, it was reported that it was 117° in the house & the second report said it was 110° in the house. The third said the man was in a wheel chair & the woman couldn't reach the thermostat. The fourth said they were conserving energy because they couldn't pay for it.

This isn't an isolated incident, the news isn't reliable at all. Their is usually a "cause", an agenda. They've cried wolf so many times I wouldn't believe it if they reported the sky was blue!

Don't Be Scared

A little more about this blog. I kind of started wanting to do one about all the lies told to scare you about everything. Global Warming, the big one in the 70's - Saccharin, Eggs, Oatmeal, and millions of other scares you've been lied to about. But fear controls a lot of people's lives about many things. From the fear of using computers to the fullest for fear of messing it up to the fear of global warming and everything else I will try to cover it here. Never fear.

How we eat while not getting fat & saving money

Since I turned 40 & started gaining a little weight we have modified our food habits. Some of the things we do are the following: When we go to a place like McDonald's we'll get a big Angus burger and split it between two people. At burger king we'll get Whopper Jr's instead of Whopper's. At Chinese restaurant's we split one dish between two people. I follow somewhat of the Atkins diet, a little less carbohydrates and a little more fat. It’s all common sense, but I guess it isn’t so common. So splitting the food keeps us thin, actually average (not fat), and saves money!

Cool Video!

I found this video and I think it is really cool! I love Gmail!

Democrats do it again

Democrats showed what big babies they are again. They got rid of the embattled Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Why do I always have to hear "the embattled Attorney General"? You don't hear descriptions like that for liberals, only conservatives. They are just mad that the first latino to hold that post was a conservative. Look at what they did to the first black Supreme Court Justice. They want to be first to appoint minorities so they can look good, the don't really care about them, just look at how their policies hurt the minorities & the poor.

I thought it very funny that in the LA Times on the same day Gonzales was forced to step down there was an article titled "Wanted: Latinos to fill federal jobs". I felt like shouting "You just got rid of one you idiots!"

Electric Car

Electric cars are the future - I want one really bad! I heard about another delay from Phoenix motor cars because of some government delay. The California Resources Board. I am sure it is some useless government beaurocracy. We want innovation but the government stifles it and slows it down. Take the Xebra for instance, it is a $10,000 3 wheel electric car that gets around some beaurocracy by being classed as a motorcycle. The exact car with four wheels would cost $30,000 to $40,000 just because it would need all these required useless government tests!

Besides, it's time to get rid of this ancient internal combustion engine. Too many moving parts. An electric motor doesn't need an oil change, tune up, coolant, etc. It's so much better.

To much to write

I haven't really written anything on my blog because I have so much to write. I guess I am finding out I should just write a little each day instead of a long article.

Intro

This blog is to dispel alot of myth's and lies told about many things. Many people are trying to scare you and to make money from your fear.
