Warning Labels

Over the holiday I saw a mother take her baby out of it's carrier and there on the carrier was a big warning label on it. That made me think of all the warning labels we all ignore every day of our lives. One wonders why all these warnings labels are necessary. Well the reason is all the stupid lawsuits - the lawyers that bring them and the people that are so stupid that they have no common sense. If we actually took serious all the warning labels we see daily we would have to stay in our homes. Though we may not even be able to stay there as I am sure there is enough warning labels to make us want to lock ourselves into a bunker.

No Bags at all!

There was something on this mornings news about another push to try to make us stop using plastic and paper bags. They just can't stop scaring us. First we are cutting down the forests use plastic! Then don't use plastic it isn't biodegradable, use paper it decays and doesn't ruin the environment. Now it's both, we are supposed to use our own bags - like I want to carry a bag around with me! Soon they will say the cloth bag they are trying to sell is hurting the cotton's feelings and we shouldn't hurt it's feelings.

President's Christmas card controversy

Last week I heard a lot of talk about the President sending out a Christmas Card with a religious verse in it. Mainly about Barbara Walters comments on "the View". Why are people so scared of this? ? For those who don't know, Christmas is a religious holiday for Christians. So it seems appropriate to send a religious card on a religious holiday. Christmas is about the incarnation of the Lord Jesus. It's not a secular holiday. Everyone knows the President is a Christian so of course he'd sent out a card about the real meaning of the Holiday. They should just be happy they even got a card from the President! Please Don't Be Scared!

Rain Prediction

I predict this season in LA we will have at least average and probably more rainfall. Last year they claim there was a drought. They try to scare you no matter what. Mark my words, this spring we will hear the same scare tactics about fires this coming summer.

If it rains alot they scare us because so much rain causes things to grow then that's more that will die and burn in the late summer. Last year they scared us that we didn't have any rain so things will burn because things are so dry. So it doesn't matter if we get rain or not, all they want to do is scare us.

The big mistake they commit is thinking there is a a "normal" or "average" temperature, rainfall, hurricane season, or anything in the weather.

For more related idiocies see global warming is a lie.

We are NOT! what is wrong!

Something is wrong, something is very, very wrong, here. And it is Al Gore. The former vice president has really shown he has some serious screws loose.

The debate is over! Al Gore is an idiot! !

He has said what I believe their aim is all along - that the best thing would be the destruction of the human race. He said "We are what is wrong." I can't wait till they are all proved wrong. I just saw a news story that said a lot of the coastline in California will be gone with in 3 to 7 years. They claim the ice caps will melt and the sea will rise 30 to 300 feet depending on what nut you talk too. Does anyone know what happens when you freeze water? ? It expands. Try freezing a soda or bottle of water, the container breaks. Thaw it out and have less volume. So if the ice caps melt the water level will go down.

We are not causing global warming! The Scandinavian Moose and cows are more to blame. They release way more CO2 than we do.

There is no reason to be scared about global warming. What you need to be scared about is Al Gore and all his ilk.

Will They Never Learn?

The hurricane have been so far off the past few years who belives them anymore. To even think they will ever be able to predict hurricanes is idiocy. Here's a story from market watch

At least William Gray doesn't believe in the global warming effecting hurricanes.

Bloomberg also reports that we are in a active cycle even though they were wrong the past few years.

Pearl Harbor

Friday was the 66th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. We need to remember this horrible day. The guy I replaced in my job was at pearl harbor. He has since passed, there is not too many of them left.

I don't know how many people know that we still have bases is Japan. We are still there after 66 years as we are in Germany. We've only been in Iraq for a few years, why all the complaining?

Gas prices will probably go up

Now that Congress looks like it will pass legislation to increase the manditory gas mileage for cars sold in the U.S., Gas price probably will go higher. First, demand will be down, so cost will go up and second since we will buy less, they will collect less money for road in taxes so they are all ready talking about raising the gas taxes because revenue is down. All because of this Global Warming Lie.

This is what I am talking about

This is how we should be traveling already ! ! ! It's about time someone started figuring this out! ! I want one! ! ! I am sure the government would ruin it by regulating the hell out of it.

Pay Per Post

I recently came across this opportunity to make a little extra money by just blogging the way I normally do. All I had to do was go to http://www.payperpost.com/ and sign up. Then they have a list of marketplace opportunities that need people to blog about everything under the sun. It is like a broker that provides consumer generated advertising for marketers and pay bloggers to provide opinions and feedback about products, services, web sites and companies. Of course full disclosure is required of you. They have all kinds of categories that you can choose from. You can choose what you blog on and how often you blog, it’s completely up to you. It is a place where you can make friends and learn about all kinds of stuff. You also can have a link on your site where advertisers can contact you directly.

I hope this will enable me to hone my writing skills which will in turn help me earn more and more money so I can help put my children through school. I also need extra money so I can maintain our home. If I even make more money I can go on a well needed and deserved trip with my wife to Hawaii.

Hybrid car farce

I do not like this wave of hybrid technology for cars. The internal combustion engine should have died a long time ago. It's ancient technology. I would've thought by now we would be using some sort of hovercraft, sort of like Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars. It seems to me that putting two different forms of propulsion together would complicate things more than it already is. Cars are already too complicated, we need to make them simpler and longer-lasting.

I am a big fan of the electric car, not because of the global warming lie. Mainly because they're so simple and need very little maintenance. The government doesn't want them to get popular because they rely so much on the money they get from the gasoline tax and in smog fees. Another reason may be that a lot of automobile repair workers would be out of a job. Businesses don't want them because they are easy to fix, and businesses rely on repair to get you to keep coming back. Look at the software business for example you always have to buy an upgraded version to fix the bad software that they sold you the first place.

The hybrids don't get that much extra gas mileage anyway. The government is already talking about raising taxes because are not using enough gas. No matter what else they come up with, no matter how good they say it is, we will always get the shaft, we will always be the losers.

Hurricane Prediction fall short again

Well for the second year in a row the 2007 Hurricane season predictions failed to fulfill expectations. I don't know why they are so surprised that the public may lose confidence in them, when you try to scare people and and are crying wolf, we know how the end of the fable turns out. I hope this humbles some scientists because it seems they think they believe they are always right.

The original prediction is as follows: "NOAA is predicting a very high likelihood (85% chance) of an above-normal 2007 Atlantic hurricane season, a 10% chance of a near-normal season, and only a 5% chance of a below-normal season . . .". So they predicted a 5% chance of a below normal season, and that's what happened. Further reading of the article states that in May they were only predicting 75% and updated it to 85% in August. They could have been more accurate if they used a dart board for their predictions. Here are some of the new stories: National Geopraphic, CNN, Voice of America News, Environment News Service

During the bad hurricane season a few years ago they blamed President Bush for the hurricanes. Why aren't they thanking him now for stopping the hurricanes. Because they think it's all about Bush. All of this makes me more cynical, because it makes me believe more than ever, "it's all about the money". The same thing with earthquake prediction, the biggest waste of money because were never going to accomplish the task.
