Voting and Fear

There has been a lot of fear promoted this election season, more than ever before.  It seems to me that is more of the normal operating procedure of the democrats than the republicans.  Please don't be scared.

The political landscape has changed since the sixties but most democrats seem to still be there, probably all those drugs.  The liberal Kennedy democrats of the sixties are now the republicans and the democrats are on the far left - socialist / communist / fascist.   Read Kennedy's inaugural address and you will think a republican wrote it.  One thing you cannot do is listen to the propaganda of the news, TV, and movies.  Lies are told over and over again they will ultimately be believed, that's what happened from the thirties to the sixties with the Nazi's and Commies, they relied on lies.  Our Lady predicted in 1917 that if we didn't pray enough the errors of communism will spread, and spread they have.  They were cultures of death, which is what we have here in the U.S.

As a Christian country we need to be people of life.  Millions of innocent lives are stamped out every year.  No candidate is perfect, none will ever be.  All we can ever do is pick the one that will do less damage.  I don't understand it, but a lot of people seem to think that helping the poor and people that have murdered is more important than millions of babies.

Another thing, it seems to me, that the democrats like to do is pretend to be Robin Hood.  Stealing from the rich to give to the poor, it doesn't work.  Even more worse is that they want the government trying to distribute it.  Government has rarely done anything well.  By nature it is incompetent.   Democrats don't realize that by trying to "stick it to the rich" they only hurt the poor more.  Whatever you do to companies doesn't hurt them.  Double their taxes and all that happens is whatever commodity they are selling goes up in price and they are still rich and the poor only have to pay more which makes them more poor.  The government should stay out of our lives and let us as Christians help the widowed and poor, that is our duty.  It seems that some Christians think that the government helps the poor so they can go their merry way.  The closer the money is to the poor, meaning the local church, city, the better it is for the poor and for us, we can really see and feel we are changing lives and doing our Christian duty toward the poor.  Look at the credit crisis, the democrats forced, by law, loans be given to the poor so they could have a house that they couldn't afford and when it foreclosed, it hurts the poor, but they really don't care, they are able to blame someone else and appear to care all the way to the bank.

So don't believe in any party, believe in God and do what is right.  Both sides have been demonized with propaganda, but only one side is for life.  And the side that is for life is more likely to care for the poor also.  Pray that you decide to vote with innocent lives in mind, it is possible you could be partially responsible for them.
