Plastic Bags

I am sick and tired of this idiocy about paper or plastic bags. There are alot more important things to be worrying about. Maybe if they get this right we will not hear about this anymore.

Biofuels increase carbon emissions

Both the LA Times and NY Times have articles on how Biofuels are bad. People are running in fear so much that they will end up hurting themselves and us in the process. They are fillled with hate for the human race and really don't care about people. Alot of them think it's a cash cow for themselves. Just look at all the money Al Gole made scaring people.

Playing with Statistics

Here is some playing with statistics for you! I guess they have to lie to try to justify something so wrong and bad for you. All they care about is the physical and not the spiritual and I wouldn't even believe their statistics on the physical part. They claim Oral Contraceptives Cut Ovarian Cancer Risk. For starters you can't say that so many of something didn't happen, there is no way to prove it but people just aren't schooled enough to know when they are being lied to. The spiritual effects of using artificial contraception and far reaching and hard to overcome. It is not acceptable to do something wrong so that good can come of it, no matter what.

Caffeine and Cell Phones

I heard two things on the morning TV shows yesterday that made my blood boil because it was just more idiocy on how they just want to scare us all.

The first was that two studies were contradictory on the effects of caffeine in pregnant women. The body is such a complex organism that what affects one person may not affect another. They seem to think we are all the same and one thing will help or hurt us all. Then I read in the NY Times a headline "Pregnancy Problems Tied to Caffeine" and at eh end of the article a Dr Westhoff is quoted with the true agenda of these researchers “Just interviewing women, over half of whom had already had their miscarriage, does not strike me as the best way to get at the real scientific question here,” she said. “But it is an excellent way to scare women.”

The second was on the effects of cell phone use before you go to sleep. What is the difference in using at any other time of the day. What really got me was the obvious waste of funding for such an idiotic study in the first place. They waste their time studying this when by the time a conclusion is arrived at the technology will have advanced so far that the study will not matter. Are Cell Phone Health Issues Really Settled?

Playing With Numbers

A few days ago there was a news story about (I believe) Citibank losing billions of dollars from all the foreclosures. I don't believe it because they love to lie to us just so we are scared, they love to play on fear, they are sure they will get their way because we let them scare us. They love to play with numbers, let me explain how I believe they inflate them. Lets say someone bought a house for $150,000, during the 30 years of the mortgage someone will be paying for it they will pay near $450,000 back to the lender. So, now let's say the person can't pay the monthly payment and the bank gets the house and will later sell it probably for near the price of the original loan so with the money the original owner did pay, the bank didn't lose anything or maybe very little. Here's where they make you think they lost a lot of money, they were supposed to get $300,000 over the amount of the loan and they are telling you they lost money they didn't even have in the first place. That's how they scare you. How can you lose money you don't have? I guess I have lost a lot of money because I haven't played the lottery and could have won millions.

Government Control

I was told recently that "this is a free country" and I said that it used to be but it isn't very free anymore. This weekend the NY Times ran a story about Lack of Supervision Noted in Deaths of Home-Schooled. So much for freedom. What business is it of the government to tell me how to school or raise or whatever I want with my kids? There is always some slightly good reason to stop the idiots and we all end up paying with less and less freedom.

Another new story tells the same thing is happening to MySpace also. They have the good intention of stopping child predators but the rules they put into place will certainly disrupt our freedoms.

Golden Compass

There is a lot of things you don't need to be scared about - that is the purpose of this blog - but this is something you should be at least very wary (cautious, suspicious, distrustful, guarded, careful) about if not downright scared. The author is unapologetic about the purpose of the film.

Rain in L.A.

People complain that the beaches are erroding and aren't being replenished. So now that a natural dry season is being followed by a wet season, they are complaining about the possibility of landslides which are supposed to make their way to the beach to replenish it. People build houses in river beds and at the mouth of a river like New Orleans and wonder why they get destroyed? We need to stop building houses in those places or stop complaining. And stop blaming it on Global Warming!

Heads I win, Tales you Lose

With freezing weather in Florida, and possibly even snow. This past year has been cooler, but no matter what it's global warming. Look at the Washington Times article "Year of global cooling". April freeze destroyed South Carolinas peach crop. Charlotte North Carolina had a record low of 21 degrees in April. June 8th in Denver a record of 31 was set. Oregon had a record that was 12 degrees colder than the previous record. Canadian government predicts this winter will be the coldest in 15 years.

It's driven by ideology not by science. Since when does science say case closed? Science always looks at the data and makes judgements. There isn't enough data to judge anything since the world has been here so long. But it doesn't matter, all they have to believe is "we" are the problem and all we have to do is give them all our money. Global Warming is a Lie

Interesting Medical Myths

I came across this article in the NY Times and it dispels some of the idiotic myths the media shoves down our throat. They show that the sayings (something like) "if you keep telling a lie a over and over it will be believed as truth" and "there are lies, damn lies and statistics" are true.

New idiotic laws for the new year

With the new year always comes the government trying to rule our lives more and more. So much for living in a free country. Here are some of the idiotic laws for 2008 that take effect in California. We can't talk on our handheld cell phones in the car anymore, can't smoke in our cars with children in it (I don't smoke - actually hate it with a passion; but believe people should be free to do whatever they want).
People that have new cars less than 6 years old will have to pay extra registration to fund alternative fuel research - what a crock! I don't have a new car but when was the last time the government was wise with your money? Do you really think anything will actually come from the $150 million per year? Another bill requires the state to study the effects oftemperature on fuel deliveries. Another waste of time and money. Haven't they heard the debate is over - there is no Global Warming - Global Warming is a Lie!

Warning Labels

Over the holiday I saw a mother take her baby out of it's carrier and there on the carrier was a big warning label on it. That made me think of all the warning labels we all ignore every day of our lives. One wonders why all these warnings labels are necessary. Well the reason is all the stupid lawsuits - the lawyers that bring them and the people that are so stupid that they have no common sense. If we actually took serious all the warning labels we see daily we would have to stay in our homes. Though we may not even be able to stay there as I am sure there is enough warning labels to make us want to lock ourselves into a bunker.

No Bags at all!

There was something on this mornings news about another push to try to make us stop using plastic and paper bags. They just can't stop scaring us. First we are cutting down the forests use plastic! Then don't use plastic it isn't biodegradable, use paper it decays and doesn't ruin the environment. Now it's both, we are supposed to use our own bags - like I want to carry a bag around with me! Soon they will say the cloth bag they are trying to sell is hurting the cotton's feelings and we shouldn't hurt it's feelings.

President's Christmas card controversy

Last week I heard a lot of talk about the President sending out a Christmas Card with a religious verse in it. Mainly about Barbara Walters comments on "the View". Why are people so scared of this? ? For those who don't know, Christmas is a religious holiday for Christians. So it seems appropriate to send a religious card on a religious holiday. Christmas is about the incarnation of the Lord Jesus. It's not a secular holiday. Everyone knows the President is a Christian so of course he'd sent out a card about the real meaning of the Holiday. They should just be happy they even got a card from the President! Please Don't Be Scared!

Rain Prediction

I predict this season in LA we will have at least average and probably more rainfall. Last year they claim there was a drought. They try to scare you no matter what. Mark my words, this spring we will hear the same scare tactics about fires this coming summer.

If it rains alot they scare us because so much rain causes things to grow then that's more that will die and burn in the late summer. Last year they scared us that we didn't have any rain so things will burn because things are so dry. So it doesn't matter if we get rain or not, all they want to do is scare us.

The big mistake they commit is thinking there is a a "normal" or "average" temperature, rainfall, hurricane season, or anything in the weather.

For more related idiocies see global warming is a lie.

We are NOT! what is wrong!

Something is wrong, something is very, very wrong, here. And it is Al Gore. The former vice president has really shown he has some serious screws loose.

The debate is over! Al Gore is an idiot! !

He has said what I believe their aim is all along - that the best thing would be the destruction of the human race. He said "We are what is wrong." I can't wait till they are all proved wrong. I just saw a news story that said a lot of the coastline in California will be gone with in 3 to 7 years. They claim the ice caps will melt and the sea will rise 30 to 300 feet depending on what nut you talk too. Does anyone know what happens when you freeze water? ? It expands. Try freezing a soda or bottle of water, the container breaks. Thaw it out and have less volume. So if the ice caps melt the water level will go down.

We are not causing global warming! The Scandinavian Moose and cows are more to blame. They release way more CO2 than we do.

There is no reason to be scared about global warming. What you need to be scared about is Al Gore and all his ilk.

Will They Never Learn?

The hurricane have been so far off the past few years who belives them anymore. To even think they will ever be able to predict hurricanes is idiocy. Here's a story from market watch

At least William Gray doesn't believe in the global warming effecting hurricanes.

Bloomberg also reports that we are in a active cycle even though they were wrong the past few years.

Pearl Harbor

Friday was the 66th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. We need to remember this horrible day. The guy I replaced in my job was at pearl harbor. He has since passed, there is not too many of them left.

I don't know how many people know that we still have bases is Japan. We are still there after 66 years as we are in Germany. We've only been in Iraq for a few years, why all the complaining?

Gas prices will probably go up

Now that Congress looks like it will pass legislation to increase the manditory gas mileage for cars sold in the U.S., Gas price probably will go higher. First, demand will be down, so cost will go up and second since we will buy less, they will collect less money for road in taxes so they are all ready talking about raising the gas taxes because revenue is down. All because of this Global Warming Lie.

This is what I am talking about

This is how we should be traveling already ! ! ! It's about time someone started figuring this out! ! I want one! ! ! I am sure the government would ruin it by regulating the hell out of it.

Pay Per Post

I recently came across this opportunity to make a little extra money by just blogging the way I normally do. All I had to do was go to http://www.payperpost.com/ and sign up. Then they have a list of marketplace opportunities that need people to blog about everything under the sun. It is like a broker that provides consumer generated advertising for marketers and pay bloggers to provide opinions and feedback about products, services, web sites and companies. Of course full disclosure is required of you. They have all kinds of categories that you can choose from. You can choose what you blog on and how often you blog, it’s completely up to you. It is a place where you can make friends and learn about all kinds of stuff. You also can have a link on your site where advertisers can contact you directly.

I hope this will enable me to hone my writing skills which will in turn help me earn more and more money so I can help put my children through school. I also need extra money so I can maintain our home. If I even make more money I can go on a well needed and deserved trip with my wife to Hawaii.

Hybrid car farce

I do not like this wave of hybrid technology for cars. The internal combustion engine should have died a long time ago. It's ancient technology. I would've thought by now we would be using some sort of hovercraft, sort of like Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars. It seems to me that putting two different forms of propulsion together would complicate things more than it already is. Cars are already too complicated, we need to make them simpler and longer-lasting.

I am a big fan of the electric car, not because of the global warming lie. Mainly because they're so simple and need very little maintenance. The government doesn't want them to get popular because they rely so much on the money they get from the gasoline tax and in smog fees. Another reason may be that a lot of automobile repair workers would be out of a job. Businesses don't want them because they are easy to fix, and businesses rely on repair to get you to keep coming back. Look at the software business for example you always have to buy an upgraded version to fix the bad software that they sold you the first place.

The hybrids don't get that much extra gas mileage anyway. The government is already talking about raising taxes because are not using enough gas. No matter what else they come up with, no matter how good they say it is, we will always get the shaft, we will always be the losers.

Hurricane Prediction fall short again

Well for the second year in a row the 2007 Hurricane season predictions failed to fulfill expectations. I don't know why they are so surprised that the public may lose confidence in them, when you try to scare people and and are crying wolf, we know how the end of the fable turns out. I hope this humbles some scientists because it seems they think they believe they are always right.

The original prediction is as follows: "NOAA is predicting a very high likelihood (85% chance) of an above-normal 2007 Atlantic hurricane season, a 10% chance of a near-normal season, and only a 5% chance of a below-normal season . . .". So they predicted a 5% chance of a below normal season, and that's what happened. Further reading of the article states that in May they were only predicting 75% and updated it to 85% in August. They could have been more accurate if they used a dart board for their predictions. Here are some of the new stories: National Geopraphic, CNN, Voice of America News, Environment News Service

During the bad hurricane season a few years ago they blamed President Bush for the hurricanes. Why aren't they thanking him now for stopping the hurricanes. Because they think it's all about Bush. All of this makes me more cynical, because it makes me believe more than ever, "it's all about the money". The same thing with earthquake prediction, the biggest waste of money because were never going to accomplish the task.

They are wrong again!

This morning the weatherman said that the rain in LA came sooner than expected. One more example of that they cannot predict the weather in the next few hours let alone that global warming will happen in hundreds or thousands of years. There's no way you can predict the future of anything with the little amount of data we have. Probably the maximum amount of data we have is about a hundred years worth. And what is the quality of the data? Where did they take the tamperature readings a hundred years ago? Do we take them in the same place now? How accurate were their thermometers? Seems like the old adage garbage in, garbage out applies. If you have bad information, you make wrong conclusions. When you have blind people leading you, you may just all over a cliff. Don't Be Scared!

College lie

Ever since I was around fifteen I have not been a proponent of college. That was thirty years ago and my life experience has led me to conclude that most of the time it isn't good for the individual and Society. It is a big reason for Society Going so Madd! The following are some of my reasons -
  • You pay all this money and all you have is stuff in your head, you don’t learn to do anything. You learn by doing - not in classes.

  • Staying in school longer makes you stay young and immature, it takes longer for people to grow up.

  • Colleges aren’t teaching the truth any longer, they are interested in brainwashing our kids by masking lies as truth.
Businesses have bought into this lie and why our infrastructure is in so bad shape. People graduating college don’t really know much and they are still very immature.

My opinion is that we go to an 8th grade education system. We would teach the basics and only the basics – reading, writing, arithmetic, music, etc. until 8th grade then you would go to a technical type school and learn a job and start working. People learn better when they are interested in what they are learning, so whatever they are interested in is what they should be learning. Most everything I know, I wanted to learn it. When I wanted to know something, I researched it and learned it myself; I didn’t need anyone telling me what to learn.
